SIGMA7 Summer 2026 Interns

June 5th, 2026

SIGMA7 Summer 2026 Intern Program features three young, talented architects
SIGMA7 continues its tradition of mentoring, educating, and helping to grow young professional talent.

This summer SIGMA7 received a large number of requests for summer interns, the largest ever in our history.

We are proud to have Grace Chung, Marat Dosmir, and Samantha (Sammy) Youn join our A/E team.

Grace Chung

Grace, a New Jersey native is a rising 4th year student at Washington University in St. Louis. She is an Architecture major with a minor in Mechanical Engineering. She is an avid photographer and a frequent contributor to her school's art and literature magazine.

As the Vice President and Class Representative of the Architecture School Council, Grace facilitates open communication between students and faculty to promote work-life balance and a healthy studio environment.

In her free time, she works to perfect her rock climbing techniques.

Marat Dosmir

Marat is a 4th year architecture at Syracuse University, which followed a two (2) year stint at a technical college. He is a 'tech-junkie' and a Tier 3 NJCAA E-sports champion with a passion for rendering and 3D visioning stemming from his childhood hobby. He enjoys graphic design, video editing, and physical fitness.

A Kyrgyzstan native, arrived in the US five years ago, without his family to explore opportunities in architecture. Marat is enjoying studying, working, and learning in the US. He looks forward to exploring more of the US, having recently traveled to Los Angeles.

Marat, a returning intern to SIGMA7, is proud to have earned the title, "Senior Intern."

Samantha (Sammy) Youn

Sammy is a rising 2nd- year Architecture Major at Syracuse University. She plans to declare her minors this year-  Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering as well as Tuba Performance with the School of Music.

She is an ACE program Alum and a proud supporter of the Orangemen as a member of the marching band.

When not in Syracuse, she enjoys being home and hangin' at the Jersey Shore.

"It was challenging selecting this year's candidates. Grace, Marat, and Sammy bring a variety of experience, skills, and interest in growing their professional skillset," said SIGMA7's internship program coordinator Patrick McDonnell, RA.

In addition to supporting our Mission Critical focused projects, Grace, Marat, and Sammy are busy working on research assignments that will be presented to the firm at the conclusion of their internships.
